Lightning Bug’s Talent Show

Here in the little blue house we have been hearing for weeks about the need to hold a Talent Show. Lightning Bug does not usually express much of a desire to perform (that role is more than adequately filled by Firefly who has the innate need to perform almost all the time), but this Talent Show was all Lightning Bug. We determined that tonight would be the night for the Talent Show. Originally it was to be open to all performers but that changed along the way to be an exclusive show. Lightning Bug handed out tickets a few days ago (a rubber duck and small plastic dinosaur), but then decided no tickets were necessary (when he wanted his tickets back and it was still 2 days before the show). After school today he came home and prepared a sign to instruct his audience where to sit (complete with a decorative butterfly- because Talent Shows are fancy), and then went up to the bathroom to practice.
